Throwing weapons changes

Furniture Kits

Mana Regeneration Rework

Stamina System
Players can hunt for up to 56 hours before they can no longer gain experience. Experience gain is halved during the last 14 hours. One minute of stamina is recovered for every two minutes you are logged off. Stamina only depletes while gaining experience.
Runes through the battle window
You can now click on a target in the battle window to use a rune on it.
Modern hotkey system
Hotkeys can now be set to use items on yourself, your target, or a selected area via crosshair, which becomes the basis of modern spell and item control.
Damage-based loot rights
For the first seconds after a kill, only the player who dealt the most damage can open the corpse, which largely kills classic loot stealing.
Skinning and dusting
Certain corpses can now be skinned or dusted for extra creature products.

Damage Formula Rework
Melee and distance weapons damage generally raised, making skill level have a higher influence on damage. Magic level has a higher influence on spell damage.
Weapon Level & Vocation Requirements
Some weapons now require a minimum level to be "wielded properly". Only knights are able to use two-handed weapons, with the exception of staves and poleaxes.
New Distance Weapons & Ammo
New ammo options were added to compensate for the reduced spell damage to Paladins.
New Paladin Spells

Shared Party Experience
Players in a party can activate experience sharing if they are within a certain level range and distance of each other. Experience is distributed equally among party members.
Elemental damage overhaul
Druids shift away from the old fire and energy dependence into earth and ice, paladins gain holy damage, death damage is added, and attack spells are reshuffled around those new elemental roles. A variety of elemental protection gear was added.
Wands and rods realigned to the new elements
Wands and rods are updated to match the new elemental setup, including new death options, so mage weapon choices start lining up with the new spell identities.
Enchanting system for weapons
Knights can temporarily enchant weapons to inflict elemental damage with their attacks and spells.
Removed: The enchanting system was replaced with imbuing.
Elemental Ammo
Elemental arrows were added, as a way for paladins to deal elemental damage with their attacks.
Strike spells lock onto your target

Protector and Blood Rage

Sharpshooter and Swift Foot
Paladins got two new spells. Swift Foot lets them move very quickly for a few seconds, but they cannot attack while it is active. Sharpshooter greatly increases distance skill, but lowers speed and prevents healing. A paladin can only learn one of the two at a time and must visit an NPC to switch.

Death Penalty Rework
The base death penalty percentage slowly decreases as you level up.
Blessings Rework
The cost of blessings now depends on character level. Additionally, blessings now reduce the probability of losing items on death, preventing it entirely if you have all of them.
Anti-Stairhop Delay
You cannot attack for 2 seconds after changing a floor level, teleporting or traveling with NPCs.
Stamina Bonus
Premium players get 50% more experience within the first hour of stamina. The maximum stamina was decreased from 56 to 42 hours. Additionally, the first hour of stamina takes 12 minutes per minute to regenerate.

Skull System Expansion
Automatic bans for excessive PKing are replaced by a 45-day black skull. Black-skulled characters take 100% PvP damage, respawn with 40 HP and 0 mana on death, cannot target unmarked players, and killer attribution expands to the last 20 damage dealers within 60 seconds.
Marriage System

War System
Two guilds in any world type can agree to have a war. A wager, time limit, and frag limit can be set. For the duration of the war, they can inflict damage on each other without interfering with the skull system in PvP worlds.
World Transfers
You can now pay to have your character moved to another world. You can only go to an equal or more restrictive PvP type, and you can only transfer once every six months.
PvP Types Realignment
Non-PvP renamed to Optional PvP, regular PvP renamed to Open-PvP, PvP-enforced renamed to Hardcore PvP. Players can stack on the same tile in Optional-PvP unless involved in a war. Killing players no longer yields experience in Hardcore-PvP.

PvP Modes
4 new PvP modes were added to the client. Dove Mode only lets you attack or block characters that have attacked you. White Hand Mode additionally lets you attack members of your guild or party. Red Fist Mode blocks every character and lets you attack any character not in your party or guild.
PvP frames
Characters in PvP now get colored frames: yellow if they are in an active fight with you or your side, orange if they attacked your party or guild, and brown if they are in a PvP fight you are not part of.
PvP interaction restrictions
You can no longer heal monsters or swap positions with trapped players, and you can shoot or heal through magic walls that are not yours as long as you do not have a yellow frame.
Guild and danger markers
Guild members now show golden or silver shields, other parties show faded party shields, and characters with 5 or more guild or party members online gain a dangerous marker. PvP visibility becomes much easier to read at a glance.

New Summon Spells
Each vocation gets their own summon. Unlike regular summons, these do not "steal" experience from the player and are teleported if the player gets too far or changes floors. They require level 200 and can only be used once every half hour, the summon lasting 15 minutes. They were later renamed to familiars.
New Ammo
Paladins may now conjure two new types of ammo: Spectral Bolts (superior damage) and Diamond Arrow (AoE damage). Initially, these could only be obtained via these spells and they expired in 60 minutes.
Wand of Darkness
Conjure Wand of Darkness replaced the old Enchant Staff spell. It creates a death-damage wand that lasts 15 minutes or 250 shots. At the time, it was the highest death-damage weapon in the game, available as early as level 41.
Persistent Challenge
Challenge now actually prevents retargeting for 6 seconds, as well as preventing creatures from fleeing when in low health.
Daily Rewards
You can obtain daily rewards through rewards shrines placed in temples. In addition to the daily rewards, keeping a streak will grant you bonuses on "resting areas", such as generating hitpoints, mana, stamina or soulpoints.

Players can donate gold to an area in the Cyclopedia. The area with the most donations receives a respawn bonus until the next server save. A randomly selected second area also receives a bonus.

Supply Stash NPC Filters
New filtering options were added, allowing you to filter by NPCs that buy the items, such as Yasir.
Colorized Loot Value
Based on the gold value defined in the Cyclopedia, which can be the average market value, NPC value, or a custom value, items are now highlighted with a colored frame or corner. Loot messages also use these colors.
Boosted Creature

House Management in Client

Beds

Hunting Tasks
Pick from a list of creatures and receive a task to kill a certain amount of them. You also receive a random bonus from the creature. Completing the task rewards you with Hunting Task Points that can be exchanged for special prizes.
Party Hunt Window
A new widget was added to the client, allowing you to track the contribution of each player in a hunt, the value of supplies used, as well as the loot gathered by each player.

Magic Shield reworked
Magic Shield now only absorbs a limited amount of damage before breaking, based on the caster's level and magic level. If this limit is reached, the spell is canceled. Drinking a mana potion will not restore the damage limit. Casting the spell again replenishes the damage limit, but its cooldown was increased to 14 seconds. The duration was decreased to 60 seconds.
Energy Ring forbidden to mages
Mages can no longer use energy rings. The classic functionality of Magic Shield still applies.
Cancel Magic Shield
A way to disable Magic Shield now that energy rings were removed from mages.
Diamond Arrows and Spectral Bolts now sold in stores
The spells to conjure these ammo types were removed as well as their expiration times. They can now be purchased in stores.
Switching Ultimate and skill buff spells removed
You no longer need to have Zoltan switch your spells, you can now have all the spells active at the same time, but they still share a cooldown.
Imbueable bows and crossbows
Bows and crossbows can now be imbued with elemental damage imbuements. The imbuements do not apply when using Diamond Arrows.
Quivers
A new container type for paladins that is equipped in the shield hand. Ammunition is only fired from the quiver.
Knights Improvements
The base damage of all their spells was increased. Blood Rage now increases all damage the knight receives by 15%. Protector now reduces all damage the knight receives by 15% and no longer prevents them from attacking, but reduces its damage by 35%.

Exaltation Forge
A new system to enhance your items with special attributes using dust and slivers obtained from killing influenced and fiendish creatures. New attributes include Onslaught, which adds a chance to deal 60% bonus damage in addition to critical hits; Ruse, which provides a chance to completely avoid damage from an attack; and Momentum, which grants a chance every two seconds to reduce all existing spell cooldowns.
Influenced and Fiendish creatures
Variations of common creatures may spawn. Influenced creatures are stronger than their regular counterparts and drop dust when killed. Fiendish creatures are even stronger and carry both dust and slivers. They are considerably rarer and can be tracked using the new "Find Fiend" spell.

Charges and duration indicators
Items with charges or duration now have a visual indicator on the item icon, showing how many charges are left or how much time is left before it expires.
Bosstiary
Keeps track of how many bosses you have killed and rewards you for progressing through the list.
Boosted Boss
Similar to Boosted Creature, a random boss is selected every server save to receive a bonus. During this day, killing this boss counts as three kills in the bosstiary and the boss will carry more equipment than usual. Also its cooldown will be reset for every character.

Mitigation
A new defensive property on all characters and creatures that reduces all incoming damage by a certain percentage. In the case of characters, this value is calculated from their shielding skill, the defense value of the shield or spellbook equipped or the weapon if not using a shield and the combat stance.

Quick Sort Container
You can now sort items within a container by different attributes like name, weight, and expiry. Similar items are grouped before expiry sorting, and sorting can recurse through contained containers.
Fragment Workshop
Gem Mods can now be upgraded from Grade I to IV in the Wheel of Destiny using gold and fragments. Fragments come from smashing unrevealed gems or dismantling revealed ones, and can also be traded or bought from jewelry NPCs. A Mod grade applies to every copy of that Mod on your gems, though it is limited by earlier Mod grades and the vessel's Resonance level. Fully upgrading a Mod to Grade IV grants a permanent Wheel of Destiny Promotion Point. The Gem Atelier can hold up to 600 gems.
Soulpit
The Soulpit is a wave-based challenge with smoother difficulty scaling, more creatures per wave, and an experience reward at the end. Supplies used inside are consumed. Soul prisms from fiendish creatures can transform a soul core into a higher-difficulty core, while using one soul core on another rerolls it into a random core.
Animus Mastery Rewards
Mastering creatures through the Soulpit now grants an experience bonus when fighting those creatures. Building Animus Mastery across more creatures increases this bonus further.
Faster Single-Target Spells
The group cooldown for single-target spells is reduced, allowing Annihilation and the Ultimate elemental strikes to be cast more frequently.
Beam Mastery Improvement
The Beam Mastery Revelation Perk now increases damage for every target hit by a beam, instead of only the first three.

Quest log overhaul
The quest log becomes much easier to use: quests and missions are visible side by side, and you can search, sort, pin, hide, and filter completed entries instead of digging through a clunky list.
Quest tracker cleanup
The quest tracker now auto-adds accepted quests, auto-removes completed ones, supports pinning and quick jump-to-log, and keeps active questing much less messy on screen.

Players start in a basic tutorial and then choose between going to Rookgaard or Newhaven, where they select their vocation. Upon reaching level 8, players can leave for the mainland.
NPC Dialogue Interface
Talking to an NPC now opens a new game window with clickable keywords and shortcut buttons for actions like trading, bank actions, etc.
Lighter gold coins and flasks
Gold coins now weigh 0.01 oz instead of 0.1 oz, and empty potion flasks are much lighter too: regular flasks drop to 0.75 oz, strong flasks to 1.00 oz, and great flasks to 1.35 oz.
Rooking no longer possible
Returning to Rookgaard after reaching the mainland is no longer possible. Related achievements have been modified to remain accessible to everyone.

Bounty Tasks
The Task Board now gives you repeatable creature hunts that pay bounty points for permanent Bounty Ring upgrades, turning hunting tasks into a long-term grind for more damage, loot, and Bestiary progress on your current target.
Weekly Tasks
A separate Monday-reset task track adds weekly kill and delivery objectives that pay XP, hunting task points, and soulseals, giving players another routine reward loop and more access to solo Soulpit fights.
Spell Opacity
You can now adjust the opacity of spell effects, with separate sliders for your own spells, other players' effects and creature spell effects.
Multiaction Button
You can create action bar buttons that perform multiple actions. When pressed, a button fires the first configured action that is off cooldown.
Use at cursor position
A new targeting option for hotkeys lets you use items at the cursor position, such as shooting AoE runes at the cursor.

AoE Runes Balanced
All four elemental damage AoE runes now have the same base power of 50.
Explosion Rune increased range
Its range was increased from 5 to 9 squares.
Combat Modes removed
Offensive, Balanced and Defensive modes were removed. To compensate for this, the attack of all characters was increased by 20%, the defense value of all shields was increased by 30% and spellbooks by 60%.
Great Mana Potion
Now available for all vocations.
Superior Mana Potion
New potion for mages and monks above level 100.
Distilled Potions
Distilled Superior Mana Potion and Distilled Ultimate Mana Potion added. They restore the same as their non-distilled counterparts but they are available for all vocations. They have a higher level requirement and cost 50% more.
Energy Ring nerfed
It now consumes 2 mana per point of damage, instead of 1. For example, a 300 damage hit will now deplete your mana by 600.
Healing Runes nerfed
Ultimate Healing Rune and Intense Healing Runes can no longer be used on other characters.
Rods and Wands improved
Some Strike imbuement limitations were removed, their ranges were increased and they now generate mana instead of consuming.
Knight Stances
Blood Rage and Protector are now stance spells available after promotion. Blood Rage grants a 30% melee skill bonus and a 15% damage bonus, while Protector grants a 30% shielding bonus and a 15% reduction in damage taken.
Shield Bash and Shield Slam spells for knights
New spells that scale their damage based on the defense value of the equipped shield. They also reduce the affected targets next auto attack damage by 50%. Shield Bash hits the current target, while Shield Slam hits all adjacent enemies.
Other knight changes
Knight healing spells now scale better with magic level and shielding and their cooldown is now 2 seconds. Chivalrous Challenge and Front Sweep received minor changes and their Wheel of Destiny was adjusted as well.
Paladin Stances
Sharpshooter is now a stance spell, along with a new stance: Divine Defiance. Sharpshooter grants a 40% distance fighting bonus. Divine Defiance grants 7.5% of distance fighting as holy and healing magic level, as well as 15% dodge against non-adjacent enemies.
Divine Barrage and Ethereal Barrage
New spells that hit the current target and a 3 tile radius (21 tiles) area around them. Divine Barrage deals holy damage and scales with magic level. Ethereal Barrage deals physical damage and scales with distance fighting.
New AoE ammunition
Five new types of arrows for physical and elemental damage were added, each with an area of effect covering 13 squares. Shatterstorm Arrows deal physical damage and have 27 attack, the same as Burst Arrows, while the rest have 21 attack, below regular arrows.
Other paladin changes
Swift Foot now allows you to attack and cast spells while active, instead reducing damage dealt by 30%. Divine Caldera damage was slightly increased, Salvation's power was increased and Divine Dazzle range was increased. Wheel of Destiny was adjusted as well.
Sorcerer Elemental stances
Master sorcerers can switch between three stances. Master of Flames increases fire spells base power by 4%; casting a fire spell then converts the next non-fire spell to fire damage. Master of Thunder increases the critical hit chance of energy spells by 4%, and casting an energy spell converts the next non-energy spell to energy damage. Master of Decay increases critical extra damage by 30% for death spells, and casting a death spell converts the next non-death spell to death damage.
Sorcerer Crippling stances
Sorcerers over level 175 can switch between two stances: Aura of Sapped Strength applies Sap Strength to targets of spells, runes and auto attacks, reducing the damage they deal by 10%. Aura of Exposed Weakness applies Expose Weakness to targets of spells, runes and auto attacks, granting 8% elemental pierce effect.
Death Echo
A new death damage spell that hits the current target and a 5x5 around it, followed by another hit after 1 second causing 50% of the damage.
Other sorcerer changes
Great Death Beam is now a regular spell learnt at level 66, Lightning number of targets increased. The base power and range of Strong and Ultimate strikes was increased.
Druid Stances
Elder Druids can now switch between two stances: Shared Conservation makes Heal Friend and Nature's Embrace heal a second party member on the screen for 30% of the healing, additionally increases your self-healing by 10%. Elemental Synthesis grants 10% of your Magic Level as additional ice and earth magic level.
Forked Glacier and Forked Thorns.
New chain spells that can hit up to 5 nearby enemies. Forked Glacier deals ice damage and Forked Thorns deals earth damage.
Other druid changes
The base power and range of Strong and Ultimate strikes were increased. Strong Ice Wave has a reduced cooldown and increased size. Wrath of Nature's base power has been increased.
Mana Buffer / Barrier
When incoming damage would exceed a mage's current HP, their HP is set to 1, the remaining damage is converted into mana damage with an 8x multiplier, and 25% of the character's maximum mana is consumed. This can only trigger once every two seconds, and if there is not enough mana to absorb the damage, the character dies.
Virtues
Monk's virtues additionally grant bonuses to nearby party members based on their vocation. Knights: -3% damage received, Paladin: +6% auto attack damage, Sorcerer: +6% spell and rune damage, Druid: +12% healing done. Mentor Other was removed to compensate this change.
Thousand Fist Blows
New spell for monks, hits your target and a 3-radius area around it.
Other Monk Changes
Way of the Monk shrines now also provide damage reduction against melee auto-attacks. Mass Spirit Mend is no longer a spender spell and gives its caster a weaker Spirit Mend-like effect. Mystic Repulse is stronger and has a shorter cooldown, while Chained Penance and Spiritual Outburst jump farther and chain to the nearest target. The Monk Familiar also hits enemies more reliably with its spells.

Echo Raids
Creatures can occasionally become stationary echoes that trigger a small raid of the same creature type. Rare Echo Wardens strengthen nearby monsters; defeating a Warden for a creature type for the first time awards Charm Points and Bestiary progress.
Discovery System Rework
All subareas are now tracked automatically, removing the need to manually start discoveries in the Cyclopedia. Fully discovering an area also grants a movement-speed bonus while inside it.
Boss Difficulty System
Bosses can now have adjustable difficulty, from a learning mode to demanding versions with new mechanics and better rewards. Characters unlock higher difficulties individually by defeating the bosses, and the Phosphorus Record ranks end-boss victories by the highest difficulty completed.
Weapon Proficiency Customization
Weapon Proficiency trees can now have up to two perks replaced with random alternatives, then refined, maximized, reshaped, or cleared. The new options include vocation spell augments, and modified perks remain with the character when it is traded. Dust remains character-bound, but its carry capacity is greatly increased.
